Marlena Toohey starts her book with a history of black glass. She numbers each item giving a short description of each one including the maker and years produced, if known. The book is primarily pictures, which I love. Marlena personally signed my book and included an up to date price guide. I consider this one of my best buys. I was thrilled when she wrote the sequel, A Collector's Guide to Black Glass II. Any collector would enjoy these books.
