A fascinating little book. Insightful to a time when much of a family's cloths were not purchased in the store but made by the lady of the house on her sewing machine or in some cases sewn by hand.

Very interesting, fun to look out book. I enjoyed finding out about the pricing and incentives used to entice buyers. The pictures are wonderful. The reprint of the magazine article is entertaining. It was interesting to see the evolution of comfort in women's clothing.
